PreK & Kindergarten Montessori Application

At Sandia Vista Elementary our Montessori classrooms are designed to meet the unique needs of students. Blending both Rio Rancho School District curriculum and Montessori curriculum, students learn grade level Common Core Standards, and use the Montessori method and materials to expand their learning. From Kindergarten through 5th grade students in the Montessori program are required to take the district and state mandated academic assessments throughout each school year. The SVE Montessori Kindergarten program is full day, Monday to Friday (9:05-3:50). The SVE Montessori PreK program is half day, Monday to Friday (9:05-12:35) and is tuition-based.

Any family applying for the Montessori program must also register with the Rio Rancho Public School District. Students who reside outside our school boundary or district must submit a transfer request annually.

Applications are being accepted for the 2024-2025 school year.
