A pile of donated socks sits near an appreciation sign at Sandia Vista Elementary

"Socktober" ended with warm and fuzzy feelings for Sandia Vista Elementary School. The school rallied their students and staff during the month of October to collect new socks for those in need this Winter season. In total, the school collected 1,106  pairs of socks.

The donations collected at Sandia Vista Elementary School, spearheaded by the entire student body and staff, will be given to a local closet to benefit students and families in need within our community.

We are so proud of SVE students and staff for being so thoughtful and caring!
