
Marine JROTC members from Rio Rancho High School are busily booking reservations to Anniston, AL, where in March they'll represent our community in national competition.
In regional competition in Chandler, Arizona, RRHS's three marksmanship teams all earned national rankings in the top 15 of all Marine JROTC units. RRHS's Precision Air Rifle team is ranked fourth in the nation, led by sharpshooter Genavive Currell. Cadet Sgt. Currell is

also one of the nation's top Marine JROTC sharpshooters, individually ranked fifth in the nation in Precision.
Thirteen cadets from Rio Rancho represented our commmunity at Regionals, competing in Sporter and Precision meets.
