Welcome to the Sandia Vista Elementary School library!
All students will visit the library every six days throughout the school year as part of the related arts rotation to learn library, research, and reading skills. Students may also come in for open checkout every day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. We also have many special events during the school year such as the fall and spring book fairs, $5 Book Day, the annual recycled art show, our young poets' contest, and much more! Please call Mrs. Marquez if you have any questions -- 338-2526, ext. 538 or susan.marquez@rrps.net.

READING TIP OF THE MONTH
Please take a look at the Summer Reading Packet that was sent home with students in early May. It contains: the Dions/Isotopes Club Read program; UNM Continuing Education reading classes for Pre-K through middle school; City of Rio Rancho Public Libraries Universe of Stories summer reading program information; the SVE Library's subscription list of FREE e-books (complete with URLs, usernames, and passwords) and much more! Keep on reading this summer and avoid the dreaded "summer slide!"
