Students may also come in for open checkout every day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. We also have many special events during the school year such as the fall and spring book fairs, $5 Book Day, the annual recycled art show, our young poets' contest, and much more! READING TIP OF THE MONTH
It's back-to-school time! And back to reading! Pre/K through grade 2 students get to check out one book each every week. Grades 3-5 get to check out two books per week. These are for independent reading at the student's level. It's a good idea to think about your purpose for reading. Do you want to learn something new? Check out a non-fiction book. Do you want to read for fun? Try a funny picture book or chapter book.
