Parent Teacher conferences are coming up. The sign up sheet was sent home on Thursday, October 12th. If you haven't signed up, please so that as soon as possible.

Our field trip to the Water Festival is October 24.

We are using our agendas this year as a way to communicate to parents what we do in class everyday. Along with our daily work, the students write their weekly Words Their Way words in them so that they can review them at home. They also have their log in information for Moby Max, Google Chrome and Typing.com that they can use at home. We also have our students set a weekly goal they want to achieve. Please take a look at their agendas everyday and initial at the bottom of each day.

Even though we are a no homework school, we encourage our students to read nightly for 15-30 minutes and fill out a Reading Log to turn in every week. We also encourage our students to log on to Moby Max and practice their math facts. By 4th grade, students should know their addition, subtraction and multiplication math facts. If they are not, 15 minutes a day will help them increase their fluency.

If you have any questions, please email me at amber.brooks@rrps.net.
